Nonthaburi is located directly north of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya river. The province is part of the greater Bangkok Metropolitan Area. In most parts it is as urbanized as the capital, and the boundary between the two provinces is nearly unrecognisable.

Opened only on weekend from 8 am. to 5 pm. The tour of Wat Sai Yai and Coconut farm by boat accompanied by local youth guides is also proposed from 9.30 am. to 4 pm.

How to get there;

* By car- Take Bang Bua Thong-Taling Chan road then turn left to Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road. Go straight on around 13 kms. towards Sai Noi Floating Market

* By van-(T. 8) Pata Pinklao –Sai Noi or The Mall Ngamwongwan-Sai Noi

* By Ferry -Take ferry with guide from Nonthaburi to Sai Noi Pier

Wat Sai Yai

(Close to Tambon Sai Noi Municipal Office) 65 Ban Sai Yai, Sai Noi-Ton Chueak Road, the monastery built in 1867 enshrines nowadays a golden Buddha image.
