Mu Koh Yao


Mu Koh Yao in the old days was just a pass way for boats to Koh PiPi or Koh Hong.But today,the islands in between Krabi,Phang Nga and Phuket are daily visited by passenger boats from these three surrounding provinces,plus by ferries to deliver cars. From Bangkok,take Highway No.35(Thonburi - Paktor) and go on to Highway No.4 through Petchaburi,Prajuab Khiri Khan , Surat Thani, Phang Nga , then turn right into Highway No.402 by Thep Krasatri or Sarasin Bridge heading to Phoket for a total distance of about 840 Kilometers in 10-12 hours.



Though to go to Koh Yao Noi - Koh Yao Yai is possible by boat from Kribi and Phang Nga , it is more convenient , safer, economical and easier via Phuket with airport and the pier near the bus terminal to get to the islands.
